Owner of Annandale teahouse presents Korean show at Kennedy Center

A traditional performance at Soricha Tea & Theater.

Eunsu Kim, the owner of Soricha Tea & Theater in Annandale and also the founder and director of the Annandale-based Washington Sorichung Institute, is presenting the 1st Annual Korean Culture Show at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C., Oct. 30.

The show will feature traditional Korean dance and music by nationally known performers and the winners of a Korean music and arts competition for youths from across the United States. Tickets are available online.

“Through this opportunity and many more, we hope for emerging prospective traditional artists to be proud of their heritage and inspired to continually share their gifts,” Kim says.

The Korean Culture Show celebrates the creation of SoriN Corp Korean Cultural Performing Acts Foundation, a nonprofit organization affiliated with Sorichung Enterprise LLC.

Soricha Tea & Theater opened at 7112 Columbia Pike in 2015. It offers complex herbal teas designed to improve one’s health and occasionally presents traditional Korean performances.

    1. Nope, just the truth. Sorry if I can't deliver the fake news that you expect. But I am certain that the supervisor can provide you with just that kind of information.

    2. There isn’t a single good news article that is posted on here that you won’t find a way to crap on. That doesn’t make you a beacon of truth, it just makes you a dick. Please move, we don’t want you here.

    3. I have never resorted to name calling, just trying to voice my opinion as I see fit. Your Trumpian antics are not appreciated by me or anyone else in Mason who give a damn.

    4. I don’t really give a shit what you appreciate as obviously your barometer in that regard was shipped from the factory broken. Do you actually think, in your brain, that mason is a slum, dump, and third world country? Like…is that a rational thought your neurons actually formulate? Have you travelled anywhere before? Like even out of northern Virginia?

    5. I think there must be a 24 hr CVS in Mason where you can get your meds. Seriously if the dosage is not high enough you need to contact your doctor.

    6. My favorite part is where you say you don’t resort to name calling, then say I’m resorting to Trumpian antics.

    7. Mr. Kim, congratulations on this lovely program and to all the student artists who are participating, well done.

    8. Thank you Mr Kim for honorably representing our area with your enormous talent. We need more gems like you in Annandale.
