Police arrest Annandale man of sexual assault at employment agency

Choon Sik Lee

The Fairfax County Police Department’s West Springfield station reports that a woman was allegedly forced to watch pornography, then sexually assaulted as she sought employment help July 7 from the World Employment Agency at 7601 Little River Turnpike, Annandale.

Police charged an employee of the agency, Choon Sik Lee of 7717 Lafayette Forrest Drive, Annandale, with two counts of attempted forcible sodomy on July 9.

The incident occurred at about 9 a.m. after the victim, age 41, was reportedly locked in a room and told to watch a video depicting sexually explicit acts. She fled the building after telling the 72-year-old perpetrator that she needed to use the restroom.

Detectives also uncovered a second incident that allegedly took place at around 8:30 a.m. on May 19 under similar circumstances. A 28-year-old Fairfax City woman involved in that case also suffered non life-threatening injuries.

Based on their investigation, detectives believe there may be additional women who have not yet reported incidents involving the arrestee and the World Employment Agency. Victims should contact Detective Amy Palizzi at 703/246-7818. If they do not speak English, interpretation services will be provided.
