Police report: larceny, brandishing, assault

 A man was arrested for stealing merchandise from the Home Depot on Arlington Boulevard in Seven Corners at about 2:30 p.m. on Aug. 7, the Fairfax County Police Department reports. 

When officers confronted the man, he ran away but was taken into custody after a brief foot pursuit.

Arnold Wesley Moody, 52, of Washington, D.C., was charged with larceny with intent to sell.

A victim reported a man pointed a handgun at them when they were sitting in a car in the 6600 block of Columbia Pike in Annandale at about 6:15 p.m. on Aug. 7. 

Ronald Allen Deangelis Jr., 49, of Falls Church, was arrested for brandishing. 

Two men walking in the 6000 block of Vista Drive in Bailey’s Crossroads at about 12:50 a.m. on Aug. 13 were assaulted and robbed by two men. A victim was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The suspects ran away.
