Police seek Annandale doctor accused of sexual battery

Fairfax County police are trying to track down an Annandale doctor, Ravi K. Veluri, who has an outstanding warrant for sexual battery.

A female patient, age 24, alleges that Dr. Veluri touched her inappropriately and made inappropriate comments July 15 in his office at the Family Care Medical Center at 4810 Beauregard Street in Alexandria. The practice is also known as “Urgent Care” or in Spanish as “Clínica Español.”

Veluri, 58, is 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs about 175 pounds. He is of Indian descent and has brown eyes and dark hair with some gray. He lives at 8305 Upper Spring Lane in Annandale.

Anyone else who has been a patient of Veluri and believes they have been victimized or knows Vuluri’s whereabouts is asked to contact police or Crime Solvers by phone at 1-866/411-TIPS(8477), or text “TIP187” plus your message to CRIMES(274637). A $100 to $1,000 cash reward will be paid for information that leads to an arrest. As always, callers never have to give their names or appear in court.
