Police seek info on burglary suspect
Detectives from the Fairfax County Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division are seeking the community’s help in identifying a suspect responsible for multiple burglaries and larcenies, including two in Mason District.
Shortly before 9 a.m. on Jan. 1, officers responded to the 6300 block of Leesburg Pike in Seven Corners for a commercial burglary. A witness reported seeing a man break into the business and leave with a cash drawer.
The suspect fled the area in a red Toyota Corolla with three missing hubcaps before the police arrived.
Through their investigation, detectives determined that the same suspect was responsible for three other crimes, including a burglary on Jan. 2 in the 3500 block of Carlin Springs Road in Bailey’s Crossroads and larcenies on Jan. 9 in the 8200 block of Watson Street in McLean and the 1500 block of Cornerside Boulevard in Tysons.
Detectives are asking anyone who may have information about these incidents to call the Mason Police Station at 703-256-8035 and ask to speak with a detective. Tips can also be submitted anonymously through Crime Solvers.
