Pool with generator reaches out to pool without power
Dolphins and Piranhas practice together |
As Annandale/Mason residents cleaned up after Friday’s rare
derecho storm—removing tree branches, clearing out and restocking refrigerators—we
suspect there were plenty of examples of neighbors helping one another get

Both the Parklawn Pool, in the Alexandria section of Fairfax
County, and the nearby Dowden Terrace Pool, in the City of Alexandria, had been

the morning of July 4 with the Parklawn Piranhas (Division 15).

Those of us who live in the Lake Barcroft region are very grateful for the free ice from Harris Teeter in this emergency.
