Power Home Remodeling, a company that focuses on upgrading the exterior of homes, has signed on as a sponsor the 2018 Taste of Annandale, a street festival Oct. 13 on Tom Davis Drive. The company provides environmentally friendly and energy-efficient doors, windows, siding, and solar panels.

Based in Chester, Pa., Power Home Remodling has 14 offices across the United States, including an office in Greenbelt, Md., that serves Northern Virginia.

Since it was launched in 1992, Power has grown rapidly. It’s the second-largest home remodeling company in the country and is in line to reach first-place in the next couple of years, says Bruce McClure, senior vice president of marketing.

Power Home Remodeling expects to earn $750 million in revenue this year and projects reaching $1 billion in 2021, McClure says.

All that growth is not at the expense of human values. McClure notes that Fortune magazine named Power number six in the nation as a best place to work for millennials. Glassdoor named Power Co-CEOs Corey Schiller and Asher Raphael to its list of top CEOs, and the Washington Post named Power the third-best workplace among mid-size companies in the D.C. region.

Power believes strongly in the need to support charities – it raised more than $1.5 million for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer – and to support community programs and events.

At the Taste of Annandale, Power Home Remodeling will have a booth with giveaways and information about the company and how homeowners can improve their properties.

“We’re all about saving people on their energy bills and increasing the value of their homes,” McClure says, “and at the same time, beautifying their homes.”
