Oleszek appears to have beaten Wade in Braddock supervisor race
In the Democratic primary for Supervisor of the Braddock District, Janet S. Oleszek seems to have beaten Christopher Wade, although the margin is razor thin. Oleszek has 1,955 votes, while Wade has 1,913.
These precincts in the Braddock District went for Oleszek (the numbers are the percentage of votes she got): Fairview (56), North Springfield #1 (55), North Springfield #2 (57), Woodson (61), Laurel (58), Sideburn (57), Villa (67), Robinson (67), Bonnie Brae (76), Burke Center (53), Cardinal (58), Keene Mill (52), Terra Centre (63), Eagle View (58), and Monument (57). Oleszek got 53 percent of the absentee ballots.

Jason Flanary has won the Republican primary for the 37th District in the Virginia Senate. Flanary has 3,133 votes, compared to 2568 for Steve Hunt. The 37th District includes portions of Annandale.
Alfonso Lopez has 2,138 votes, compared to 1,098 for Stephanie Clifford, in the Democratic primary for the 49th District of the House of Delegates. That district includes parts of Bailey’s Crossroads and Seven Corners in the Mason District.
In the three-way Democratic race for 30th District in the Senate, Adam Ebbin won with 4,562 votes compared to 4,231 votes for K. Rob Krupicka and 2,976 for Libby Garvey.
Arlington County Supervisor Barbara Favola, with 6,544 votes, has won the Democratic primary for the 31st District Senate seat. Her opponent, Jaime Areizaga-Soto, got just 3,574 votes.
Jeffrey Frederick (with 3,655 votes) beat Tito Munoz (1,655 votes) in the Republican primary for the 36th District in the state Senate.
In the 39th Senate District Republican primary, Miller Baker swept to victory over Scott Martin by a margin of 73.4 percent to 26.6 percent.
And in the Republican primary for Fairfax County sheriff, Bill Cooper III beat H. Wes Kammerer 79 percent to 24 percent.
