Public invited to community meeting on Annandale Civic Space

Annandale residents are urged to attend a virtual community meeting
on Tuesday, June 29, at 7 p.m., to learn about the new Annandale Civic Space
coming to 7200 Columbia Pike. Register for the meeting here.

Staff from the Fairfax County Office of Community
Revitalization will share a “walk-through” video of the site and the design
concept to give people a better sense of how the park will look and feel.

Attendees will have an opportunity to give their preferences
for future park elements, such as tables, seating, and lighting. A Spanish
interpreter will be available.

The Annandale Civic space includes a paved area and
green space between the ACCA Child Development Center and the Annandale
Volunteer Fire Department. Several
pop-up community events were held in that space during 2019.
