Public invited to dance show and party Saturday night

Looking for something fun to do this weekend? How about a show that combines the spirit of “Dancing with the Stars,” “So You Think You Can Dance,” and “Circ du Soleil”?

The brand-new Forever Dancing Ballroom studio, in the Bailey’s Crossroads area, is presenting its first annual Spring Showcase and Dance Party Saturday night featuring students and professionals performing ballroom, Bollywood, belly, Latin, and flamenco dancing, along with the aerial arts.

“The showcase expresses the variety of our community; you will not find such performances under the same roof anywhere else,” says Fabio Bonini, artistic director of the Forever Dancing Ballroom. “Bring your dance shoes and join the after-show dance party with all rhythms. If you do not know how to dance, we can help.”

The show is 7-8:30 p.m. The dance party, 9-11 p.m., will have a DJ plus snacks and beverages. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at the door or online. The Forever Dancing Ballroom is located at 5818 Seminary Road, Falls Church.

Forever Dancing Ballroom offers group and private lessons, instructional DVDs, dance workshops, and trips.
