Public invited to workshop Thursday evening on ‘Building Community’

The public is invited to a special workshop on “Building Community,” sponsored by the Mason District Council, Thursday evening, April 7 in the Mason District Government Center. Come at 7 p.m. to mix and mingle with leaders from local community associations
At 7:30, Norma Lopez and Elisa Lueck from the Fairfax County Department of Neighborhood and Community Services will present a hands-on workshop on creating social capital and building community. This is a popular session from the “Neighborhood College” series, and Lopez recently facilitated the Annandale Dialogue on Diversity sessions.
