Pupusas Express opens in Annandale
Pupusas Express, a Salvadoran fast-food eatery is now open in the Annandale Shopping Center. It’s in the former Quiznos spot, at 7042 Columbia Pike.
The restaurant offers several varieties of rice and corn pupusas, including one with loroco flower, made from a plant popular in Central America.
Pupusas has a pretty extensive menu. Other items include tacos, fajitas, carne asada, platos tipico (steak, tilapia, chicken, or shrimp), combination platters, fried plantains, soups, and nachos. There is also burgers, nuggets, and wings.

The restaurant has a few tables inside and outside. It offers free delivery up to a four-mile radius with a $12 minimum. It’s open 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Monday-Saturday and closed on Sundays.
This is the fourth Pupusas Express branch. The others are in Herndon, Manassas and Alexandria.
Can't wait to try this out, especially the tres leches! My dad was curious about pupusas so I'll take him here. the Loroco flower sounds really interesting…
Just tried the Loroco flower ones the other day, they were great! I recommend. I had four, and they were really good for a meal, but I'll probably just have 3 next time.

wish the would add tacos and ceviche to their menu
