RAMP presents soccer shirt to raffle winner

Keith Persson not only enjoyed the Taste of Annandale on April 29, he ended up winning the framed Wayne Rooney shirt raffled off by RAMP Optimal Performance & Wellness.

Rooney was one of the top football stars in England and is the current manager of DC United. RAMP owner Pablo Amaya, a DC United assistant coach, organized the raffle to benefit the Annandale Volunteer Fire Department.

Persson said he plans to become a DC United fan while staying loyal to the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Persson and his wife Emily have lived in Annandale for 15 years. “We love it here,” said Emily. “It’s a fantastic community with a wide range of cultures.”
