Real estate market improved in February

Annandale’s real estate market has shown some improvements in February, compared with January. Twenty-five single-family homes were sold here last month, compared to just 17 in January, reports Vivianne Couts of Coldwell Banker. The average sales price in February was a bit lower, though–$435,000, compared to $504,719 in January.

There were 62 single-family homes on the market in February, at an average price of $589,259, and 78 single-family homes were under contract.

More townhouses and condominiums were sold in February, too. Twenty-three townhouses were under contract, and 11 were sold with an average sales price of $285,955. Only five townhouses were sold in January, but the average price was higher, $303,558.

Sixty-five condos were under contract in February, and 18 were sold, for an average price of $138,736. In January, five condos were sold, for an average price of $126,658.
