Someone broke into the Millenium Care Pharmacy at 6305 Castle Place in Seven Corners and stole property, the Fairfax County Police Department reports. The burglary happened at about 9 a.m. on March 23. The suspect was described as a man wearing a light-colored shirt and dark-colored pants.
There was a DWI arrest on Little River Turnpike at Guinea Road in Annandale at 4 a.m. on March 21. Officers attempted to stop a Toyota Yaris for a traffic violation.
The driver refused to stop and a pursuit ensued. Officers used the Precision Immobilization Technique to bring the pursuit to an end.
The driver, Julia Hamby, 34, of Wirtz, Va., was taken into custody and charged with disregarding police command, driving while intoxicated, resisting arrest/obstruction of justice, and trespassing. She was taken to the Adult Detention Center and held without bond.
There was an attempted robbery of the Tobacco King store at 5520 Leesburg Pike in Bailey’s Crossroads at 9:45 p.m. on March 22. Someone attempted to break into the closed store while an employee remained inside. The employee confronted the suspect who ran away. The suspect was found, identified as a juvenile, and taken into custody. Charges are pending.
