Recent crimes: indecent exposure, stabbing, auto theft
Two people saw a man driving a black Mini-Cooper exposing and inappropriately touching himself shortly before 5 p.m., Sept. 28, in the 3300 block of Gallows Road near the hospital. The suspect was described as a skinny white man, 40 to 50 years old, with white or gray hair.
A man involved in a traffic dispute in the 4800 block of Leesburg Pike, Alexandria, on Sept. 28 at 11:15 a.m. was threatened at knife point. The suspect exited a white van, displayed a knife, and made verbal threats. The victim was not harmed, and the suspect drove away. The suspect was described as a Hispanic man, 25 to 30-years-old with medium-length hair.
A man recently reported his car stolen in a neighboring jurisdiction. He then saw his car being driven and contacted police, who arrested Ahmed Mohamed, 32, of Annandale, at Little River Turnpike and Roberts Avenue at 10:40 a.m. on Sept. 27. Mohamed was charged with receiving stolen property.
Two man were stabbed following an altercation in a restaurant in the 6900 block of Hechinger Plaza in Springfield on Sept. 29 at 9 p.m. The suspect was described as a Hispanic man in his 20s, 5 feet 5 inches, with long dark hair.
