Recent crimes: shooting, burglary
The Fairfax County Police Department reports a shooting in the 6000 block of Bellview Drive in Bailey’s Crossroads at 3:30 p.m. on Feb. 22.
Two people were walking into an apartment building when they were approached by two men. One of the men shot four rounds through the door striking one of the victims in the lower body then ran away.
The victim was treated for injuries that were not considered life threatening. This does not appear to be a random act.
Two men burglarized AGW & Associates at 5711 Center Lane in Bailey’s Crossroads. The men entered the business shortly before 7:30 a.m., took property, and left the area. AGW specializes in installing and repairing commercial doors.
