Reconnect at the Atoms 5K
The
theme of the this year’s Annandale Atoms 5K is “Welcome Back Alumni,” so it’s a
great opportunity to reconnect with your old friends.
The
Atoms 5K Run/Walk is Sunday, May 15, at the school, at 8 a.m. Online registration is open through midnight on
May 14. It’s $15 for Annandale students and faculty and $30 for everyone else, plus
a $2.80 sign-up fee.

The
5K is a fundraiser for Annandale High School athletic programs and
college scholarships. All participants will get a T-shirt. Following the race,
trophies and medals will be presented on the new synthetic turf field in the
Atoms stadium.
There
will be raffle prizes and prizes to the top runners in 12 categories, including
the top three overall male and female finishers, the two top male and female
AHS students, and the first and second male and female finishers in seven age
categories.
