Registration open for winter break camp at Pinecrest School

Fun times at Pinecrest Winter Break Camp.

It’s not too early to start thinking about winter break camp – The good ones fill up early.

Pinecrest Winter Break Camp, hosted by the Pinecrest School in Annandale, offers a week of fun, creative, and educationally enriching activities Dec. 19-23. It’s available for all children, in preschool through grade 6, whether they attend Pinecrest School or not.

Each day includes a mix of arts and crafts, physical activities, games, and STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) activities. Children will have fun with scavenger hunts, brain-benders, science discoveries, engineering challenges, art explorations, making handmade treasures to take home, and much more.

The hours are 8:45 a.m.-3:45 p.m. for K-6 and 8:45 a.m.-noon for pre-K. Before and after-camp care is available beginning at 7:30 a.m. and up to 6 p.m. for all ages. You can sign up for individual days, as well as the whole week (K-6 only).

Online registration is now under way. For more information, contact Pinecrest Camp Director Cindy Mitlo, [email protected], 703-354-3446.
