Renovation planned for building on Little River Turnpike
The small two-story shopping center at 7409 Little River
Turnpike, Annandale, is getting a makeover. The building, to be known as Hanna Plaza,
will have a new, nicer façade with more brick and improved landscaping, says
Jeffrey Levine of Levine Design Studio, who’s working on the project for the
owner.
The interior won’t be changed much, except for a new foyer
and central staircase. The two tenants on the first floor, Title Max and a
drycleaners, are moving. Title Max is relocating a few doors down on Little River to the site formerly occupied by Jerry’s Subs and Pizza.

According to Levine, a laundry is moving to the first floor, and a real estate company upstairs is expected to stay. The owner is looking for more upscale tenants for the rest of the
property. The parking lot will be at the rear of the building.
It’s a by-right project, which means it won’t involve a
rezoning procedure and there won’t be a public hearing. The design work is
under way now, and construction is expected to start in the fall.

That place is perfect for a tattoo parlor or a pawn shop, we have neither in Annandale.
Look, just take your car to one of the many Title Maxes or your gold to a conveniently located Gold for Cash and call a cab to get to your favorite tattoo artist and pawn your other stuff somewhere else. Penny doesn't like tattoos much.
