Robbers spray employee with chemical and grab money bag

There was a robbery at the Rent-A-Center at the Plaza at Landmark, 6244 Little River Turnpike, March 7, the Fairfax County Police Department reports.

A female employee, 23, walked out of the building to make a deposit carrying a bank deposit bag shortly before 10:30 a.m.. A man confronted her and sprayed her in the face with some type of chemical believed to be pepper spray.

He demanded money as another suspect approached. They grabbed the money bag and fled on foot toward Little River Turnpike and Beauregard Street. The victim was treated on the scene by paramedics for pepper spray exposure.

Both suspects were described as black. One was about 5 feet 8 inches tall and was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and dark pants. The other was balding, had a beard, and was wearing dark clothing.     This comment makes as much, if not more, sense than the vast majority of comments posted on this website.

  2. The Dump gets hit again, it must have been the hanging bag of garbage mascot across the street from this horrible shopping center that attracted the criminals.
