Robbers target 80-year-old woman

The Fairfax County Police Department’s crime recap for the weekend includes the robbery of an 80-year-old woman on a service in the 7300 block of Arlington Boulevard, Falls Church, between 6 and 6:30 p.m. on Aug. 27.

The suspect is described as a white woman, between 38 and 45 years old, and approximately 5 feet four inches. She was accompanied by a man in his 50s with black hair and weighing between 200 and 250 pounds.

They left the area in a white SUV. The victim did not require medical attention.

On Aug. 25, police arrested a man who had broken into a home in the 7800 block of Rectory Lane, Annandale, and was found inside by responding officers at about 1:30 p.m. on Aug. 25.
Daniel Nunez Mendoza, a 19-year-old from Annandale, was charged with unlawful entry and destruction of property.
