Robbery, malicious wounding incidents reported

Among recent crime reports from the Fairfax County Police Department:

A man was robbed at the Bradlick Shopping Center on Aug. 29 between 3 and 3:30 a.m. The victim got into a car believing it was his Uber.


The two men in the car drove him to Braddock Road, told him to get out of the car, punched him several times, and stole his wallet. They then fled in a silver Toyota.

On Aug. 27, an employee of Ashley Furniture at 5871 Crossroads Circle in Bailey’s Crossroads who was leaving the store just after 6 p.m. from a back door was shot in the arm with a BB gun. A friend took the employee to the hospital with minor injuries. The victim is unsure where the shots came from.

A resident of the 4200 block of Americana Drive in Annandale reported someone shot a gun into their home twice at about 10:20 p.m. on Aug. 27. No one inside the home was injured.
