Rotary Club awards classic Mustang to raffle winner

John Magano of Oak Hill, Va., won a 1966 classic Ford Mustang in the Bailey’s Crossroads Rotary Club’s annual raffle.

The raffle drawing took place Sept. 25, and the club’s president, David Feld, presented the ceremonial keys to Magano at the club’s October 7 breakfast meeting. The Mustang will be delivered to Magano next week.

Other raffle winners, Frank Harrison of Burke and Chris Sarmpote of Arlington, each received cash prizes of $500.

The Bailey’s Crossroads Rotary Club has been raffling off a classic Mustang for 31 years. This year’s raffle netted just over $114,500, which will support the club’s charity projects. The club will start selling tickets for the 2017 raffle in April.
