Schedule of events set for the Eileen Garnett park in Annandale
Fairfax County’s Department of Planning and Development has scheduled monthly family-friendly events at the Eileen Garnett Civic Space in Annandale throughout the rest of the year. The park is located at 7200 Columbia Pike.
Here’s the lineup:
- Earth Day Celebration – April 19, 1-4 p.m.
- Asian Heritage Celebration – May 24, 1-4 p.m.
- Movie Night – June 14, 8-10 p.m.
- Dog Days of Summer – July 19, 1-4 p.m.
- Fall Festival – Oct. 18, 1-4 p.m.
- Winter Festival – Dec. 6, 1-4 p.m.
Other groups are organizing events at the Eileen Garnett Civic Space, too.
The NVA Thai Center will host monthly Thai Street Food Markets at the park on Sundays, 10 a.m.-6 p.m., beginning May 11.
Additional Thai food markets will be held June 15, July 20, Aug. 17, Sept. 21, Oct. 5, Nov. 16, and Dec. 7.
The Annandale-Mason Roundtable is hosting the 2025 Taste of Annandale at the Eileen Garnett Civic Space on Sept. 20, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
Then on Oct. 11, the Mason Arts Council is holding a Mason Art Festival at the park.
