Seven Corners house fire started in the attic

A fire at a single-family home in the 6100 block of Munson Hill Road in Seven Corners was caused by “an unspecified electrical event involving household wiring” in the attic, the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department reports.
Units from the Arlington County Fire Department, as well as Fairfax County arrived shortly before 2:30 a.m. No one was home at the time. A neighbor who saw fire on the roof called 911. The house had smoke alarms but they didn’t sound due to the location of the fire.
Two firefighters were transported to the hospital for a check-up.
