Seven Corners Pub to have new owner
The Seven Corners Pub, one of the few gathering places in
Mason District with live music, is in the process of being purchased by a
company called Ezzat Trading, says Rouni Chiha, who will become the new
manager if the deal is finalized.

The downstairs area of the pub, at 6315 Leesburg Pike, will
become a hookah bar, Chiha says. The upstairs area will be a bar and restaurant
specializing in Middle Eastern food. It will have karaoke, a DJ, and an
especially long happy hour, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. He hasn’t decided yet
whether to have live music.
Chiha expects the new place to open, with a new name, around May 15. The new name hasn’t been determined.
According to Chiha, Ezzat Trading is a Middle Eastern-based
company involved with rental cars, wholesale tobacco, title loans, heavy
equipment, and shopping centers. Chiha is the former food and beverage manager
of a Sheraton Hotel in Abu Dhabi.

Yep. Title loans, rental cars, heavy equipment and now a bar. Seems like they have all they need to run a bad operation. Hope I am wrong, but this does not sound like a good move.

I admit to being saddened that a british pub – of which I don't know of any other in the vicinity – is being replaced by a bar to go smoke – of which there is another right down the road.
It is really hard to imagine this in any way other than a downgrade.
I still don't understand how you can't smoke a cigarette or e-cig in a bar (I don't smoke either) but as long as it's a hookah it's all good. Wonder why….
There are plenty of bars you can smoke at in Virginia. They have separate areas.

Oh yea its really bad for you. Not as bad as cigarettes but not harmless. So instead of being the titlemax capitol Mason will turn into the next Hookah Capitol.

Seven Corners Pub will be remaining the same just we are doing remolding for downstairs and out side patios to add more seats
and we have now new food menu with new beer list
and ladies night every Thursday and all the above is not true
