St. Alban’s Christmas bazaar this Saturday
The public is invited to get a jump on holiday shopping
at the St. Alban’s Annual Christmas Bazaar on Saturday, Nov. 20, 9 a.m.-2 p.m.
The bazaar is at St. Alban’s Episcopal Church, 6800 Columbia Pike, Annandale.
Among the items on sale: Christmas decorations,
jewelry, handmade crafts, artwork, candy, toys, baked goods, housewares, and
much more. The St. Alban’s choir will entertain shoppers with holiday music.
There will also be a raffle with great prizes,
including Kennedy Center tickets, Nationals and DC United tickets, Lego sets, and
gift baskets. You do not have to be present to win.
Children can shop for their families at a special “secret
shop.” An outdoor café will feature scotch eggs, sausage rolls, chowder, chili,
and more. Masks are required indoors.
Proceeds from the bazaar help support St. Alban’s
community outreach including, the Annandale Christian Community for Action, Bethany
House, programs at Poe Middle School and Belvedere Elementary, and other
community organizations serving those in need.
