Stuart band students seek donations on Tag Day

important, please be generous when students in the Stuart High School band or orchestra knock on your door Saturday, Sept. 19, asking for donations.
This campaign, known as Tag Day, is
vital to ensuring a successful music program at Stuart. One hundred percent of all donations go
directly to the Music Department for things like instruments, sheet music, guest
instructors, and other items not covered by Fairfax County Public Schools.
which includes the attendance areas of Glasgow Middle School and Bailey’s Beech Tree, Belvedere, Glen Forest, Parklawn, and Sleepy Hollow elementary schools.
If you won’t be home on Saturday, or if
you live in a condo or apartment that doesn’t allow solicitors, you can mail a
donation to the Stuart High School Band Boosters, P.O. Box 1640, Falls Church
VA 22041. Make checks payable to Stuart High School Band Boosters. Receipts
will be mailed for all contributions of $25 or more.
Tag Day for the Falls Church High School music programs is also Sept. 19.
