If you haven’t taken full advantage of the free summer Spotlight by Startlight concerns in Annandale yet, you’ve only got two more chances.
The last show at the Mason District Park Amphitheater is tonight, Aug. 20. The U.S. Navy Country Current performs at 7:30 p.m.
The last performance of the season at Ossian Hall Park in Annandale – Sunday, Aug. 21, at 7:30 p.m. – is Bolivia Cultural Heritage Night featuring music and dance by Fraternidad Folklorica Cultural Morenada Bolivia USA.
The performances will be canceled for rain. Call 703-324-SHOW (7469) within an hour before showtime to check if it’s on or not.
Bad weather – high temperatures and rain – might have discouraged customers at the Park Authority’s farmers markets. But you’re got plenty of time to catch up.
The market at Wakefield Park in Annandale is open Wednesdays, 2-6 p.m., through Oct. 27.
The Annandale Market in Mason District Park is open Thursdays, 8 a.m.-noon, through Nov. 5.
