Summer concerts in the parks canceled

The amphitheater at Mason District Park will stay empty for the rest of the season.

The Fairfax County Park Authority has canceled the summer entertainment series for the rest of the summer, due to the need to avoid large public gatherings during the coronavirus pandemic.

That includes Spotlight by Starlight concerts at Mason District Park and Ossian Hall Park in Annandale.
The Park Authority is planning to host virtual concerts for each magisterial district from July 30 through the end of August. Virtual concerts will be held Thursday through Sunday evenings at 7:30 p.m., and children’s shows will be held on Saturday mornings at 10 a.m. A schedule of virtual events will be released later this month.

  1. If they are hosting a virtual concert in a virtual park,

can we also have a virtual parks authority and we can get rid of all these salaries we are wasting on non-necessary government workers?

    1. You mean that before park authority, no parks existed???

      OMG

In that case i hope we have an Air and Oxygen authority, otherwise we'll suffocate to death

    2. LOL

Go tell Yosemite that it will collapse if not the "parks authority"
      or
tell the fish swimming in the river run that they cant do that "because no parks authority takes care of them"

Who will take care of us citizens without the government babysitter?
How can we function without all these ppl sucking off the public money??
