Annandale woman charged with assault

Fairfax County police arrested a woman May 1, shortly after midnight, for assaulting a homeowner in the 7500 block of Little River Turnpike in Annandale. Officers found Kassandra Iriarte, 25, of Annandale, in the hallway continuing the aggression, the Fairfax County Police Department states. Man arrested for reckless driving, child endangerment, weapons

The Fairfax County Police Department’s weekly crime report includes an incident in Annandale involving a vehicle pursuit, weapons violation, and child endangerment. Officers noticed a 1996 Honda Accord being driven recklessly at about 2:30 a.m., April 12, on Backlick Road at Braddock Road. The driver refused to stop, resulting in a pursuit. 

Man attacks people at senior center

The Lincolnia Senior Center The Fairfax County Police Department reports the following recent crimes in the Annandale/Mason District area:  A man entered a building at the Lincolnia Senior Center being used as a hypothermia shelter (4710 N. Chambliss St.) shortly before 7 a.m. on March 20 and began assaulting several people.  

Two shooting incidents reported at Annandale apartments

Police commander to act on street racing complaints

The Mason Police Station Street racing and speeding in Annandale is a “top priority” said Capt. Shawn Adcock, the new commander of the Mason Police District at a March 2 meeting of the station’s citizen advisory committee (CAC).   Adcock succeeded the former commander, Capt. Brooke Wright, two weeks ago.
