Man arrested for reckless driving, child endangerment, weapons
The Fairfax County Police Department’s weekly crime report includes an incident in Annandale involving a vehicle pursuit, weapons violation, and child endangerment. Officers noticed a 1996 Honda Accord being driven recklessly at about 2:30 a.m., April 12, on Backlick Road at Braddock Road. The driver refused to stop, resulting in a pursuit.
Pedestrian killed on Arlington Boulevard
A 36-year-old man trying to cross Arlington Boulevard (Route 50) near Graham Road was struck and killed shortly after 10 p.m. on April 9. This is the third pedestrian fatality in Fairfax County in 2021.
Man attacks people at senior center
