Taco Ssam, the Korean-Mexican fusion restaurant in the new Eastgate Shopping Center in Annandale, opened for the first time Friday evening. The menu features tacos with homemade corn tortillas and Korean ingredients, such as bulgoki, galbi, spicy pork with grilled kimchi, and pork belly. There are also regular Mexican tacos and entrees and Korean dishes.

Crichlow [FCPD] Police arrested a man in Fulton County, Ga., for multiple burglaries committed in Northern Virginia and Maryland, the Fairfax County Police Department reported March 10. First Watch, the “daytime café,” opened March 8 at the Crossroads Center in Bailey’s Crossroads. The new restaurant is open daily 7 a.m.-2:30 p.m. It serves breakfast, brunch, and lunch.
