Annual parade brings color, music, and fun to Annandale
Despite the cold weather, crowds lined Columbia Pike this morning for the annual Annandale Parade. Among the participants: several Bolivian dance groups, the Annandale High School marching band, scouts, antique cars, politicians and candidates, schools, churches, fire trucks and police cars, local merchants, service organizations, and lots of people in Halloween costumes. Both the parade and Annandale Festival, also on Oct. 26, are major fundraisers for the Annandale Chamber of Commerce.
