Drive, Annandale, is hosting its first DMV Night Market this Saturday and
Sunday with more than 20 street food vendors, live music, DJs, and games.

The event is not only at night; it starts at noon on both Dec.
2 and 3 and ends at 10 p.m. on Saturday and 8 p.m. on Sunday. It’s a family-friendly
event taking place outdoors and in tents. There will be portable heaters if
needed.

“DMV Night Market serves as a platform to unite the
community and support local upcoming artists and businesses,” The Block states.
“We’re fusing an iconic Asian cultural staple, the night market, with the
cultural diversity that is the DMV.”
Vendors include Kirin Frozen Beer, Urban Bumpkin, Snocream,
People’s Bao, Tokyo in the City, Buena’dillas, Feelin Crabby, La Tinteria, DC
Tapas Truck, Mazza Kitchen, Peruvian Brothers, Jerk at Nite, Express on Wheels,
DC Fried Chicken, Bel-Feast, CapMac, Wassub, and more.
People’s Bao, Tokyo in the City, Buena’dillas, Feelin Crabby, La Tinteria, DC
Tapas Truck, Mazza Kitchen, Peruvian Brothers, Jerk at Nite, Express on Wheels,

Tickets are $5 for one day, $9 for both days. Kids age 12
and under are free but must be accompanied by an adult.

Very cool! If this is really popular this weekend, I can see it becoming a regular thing, and a big draw for Annandale.
They already said it will be a monthly thing so I'm excited for that.
Ah great news then! I will definitely be going to them. I miss the night markets in Asia, and now I don't have to fly to the other end of the world to go to one.
