The Taste of Annandale to return in 2023
After a two and a-half-year break, the Taste of Annandale will be back in 2023.
The family-friendly community festival is scheduled for Saturday, April 29, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., along Tom Davis Drive in the center of Annandale.
Plans call for food trucks, restaurants, a 5K race, a full line-up of live music and dance, children’s entertainment and activities, a beer garden, the police helicopter, a chili cook-off, a best-dressed pet contest, and dozens of vendors. There is no charge to attend.
The Taste of Annandale is organized by the Annandale-Mason Roundtable, a nonprofit formed by volunteers. The festival was developed with two major goals in mind: to bring the community together to celebrate Annandale and to shine a spotlight on local businesses and restaurants.
The roundtable needs sponsors to make the Taste of Annandale a success.
For local businesspeople, signing on as a sponsor offers a great opportunity to introduce yourself to the public and highlight your position as a community leader.
Visit the Taste of Annandale website to learn more about sponsorships and download an application.
Applications for restaurants, food trucks, and non-food vendors are also available online.
The Taste of Annandale has been held annually from 2015 to 2019, then was put on hold due to the pandemic. The 2023 festival promises to be the biggest and best Taste ever.
So happy to see this come back. It brings our disparate community together for a fun time. Praying for excellent weather. Thanks Ellie for your major role in this wonderful endeavor.
What great news! I hope the Taste of Annandale continues to grow and attract more sponsors. This is really a high visibility event in our community. Also, I hope the organizers try to attract more local restaurants to participate.
Seconded!
Wooohoo, finally some good news in the hood!
