Three men arrested for sexual assault and robbery at a hotel

Three men have been arrested for sexually assaulting and robbing a prostitute at a hotel in the Alexandria area of Fairfax County on June 20.

According to a report from the Franconia Police District, “a 25-year-old California woman was staying at a local hotel in the 5700 block of Van Dorn Street for the purposes of on-line solicitation of adult services. Around 4:30 a.m. three men forced their way into her hotel room and one brandished a handgun. The victim was sexually assaulted and robbed of money and personal property.” 

The police don’t specify which hotel is involved but there
is a Comfort Inn & Suites at 5716 S. Van Dorn St.

Three suspects were taken into custody on warrants from Fairfax County. Michael Reed, 19, of 6143 Edsall Road, Alexandria, was charged with rape, robbery, and abduction with intent to defile, and he is currently at Fairfax County Jail. Daqwanne Pearson, 18, of 3907 21 St., Temple Hills, Md., was charged with robbery and abduction with intent to defile and is currently in jail in Maryland awaiting extradition. Reginald Gooden, 18, of 2954 Second St. SE in Washington, D.C., was charged with robbery, use of a firearm in commission of a felony, animate object penetration, and abduction with intent to defile and is currently in jail in Washington, D.C. awaiting extradition.

Fairfax County Police had plenty of help in this case from the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force, Alexandria City Police, and Washington, D.C., Metropolitan Police.
