‘Tree gifting program’ aimed at restoring tree canopy
The Fairfax County Restoration Project, a public-private partnership aimed at improving the environment, has launched Reforest Fairfax, a “gifting program” designed to help restore the tree canopy.
Each gift of a tree purchases five seedlings to be planted in Fairfax County this fall or next spring to enhance the natural environment. Tree gifts are appropriate for just about any occasion, including client appreciation, fundraisers, corporate promotions, loyalty program awards, teacher appreciation, birthday and graduation presents, and baby and wedding gifts.
Each purchase includes a gift card with your personal greeting, a gift certificate with the registration number of your trees, and access to an online locator tool so you can find out where your trees were planted.
The Fairfax County Restoration Project is supported by Transurban-Fluor, Fairfax ReLeaf, EZE Solutions, Northern Virginia Soil and Water Conservation District, Xpedx, and McCabe’s Printing Group.
