Trial for suspect in murder of Annandale acupuncturist set for March 21

The trial of Danny Kim, the suspect in the murder of Annandale acupuncturist Chung Auh has been scheduled for March 21, according to a spokesperson for the Criminal Division of the Fairfax County Circuit Court, although delays are possible. Kim was charged with second degree murder and abduction.

Auh, 53, operated an acupuncture business from her home at 2119 Hummer Road, next to the Yechon restaurant. According to a report by Channel 4 News, her body was found by a customer in her home July 24, 2009. She had been bound and stabbed.

Police arrested Kim, 47, in Ohio, after police identified him and his car on a surveillance video from Yechon, Channel 7 News reported. Kim is a former resident of Springfield.
