TV gardening star to appear at Home Show this weekend in Annandale

Paul James,“the gardener guy” from the popular HGTV show “Gardening by the Yard,” will appear at the second annual Fairfax Community Home Show this weekend at the Annandale campus of Northern Virginia Community College.

The Home Show is “a one-of-a-kind homeowners event showcasing products and services for the outside of the house, the inside of the house, and the people in the house,” says spokesperson Scott Smith. The expo gives consumers a chance to talk to experts about construction, design, and remodeling and see some of the latest products in kitchen and bath displays, decking, fencing, countertops, tile, home energy systems, home financing, landscaping, interior design, window treatments, roofing, waterproofing, heating, and more.

Scott says the home show is open Saturday, March 12, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., and Sunday, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Tickets are $6 ($4 for active and retired military) and are available at the door.
