TV show to feature Celebrity Delly

The Celebrity Delly in Graham Park Plaza on Arlington Boulevard will be featured on TV.

The restaurant was closed for four days last week for the filming of former White House chef Andre Rush’s new show “Kitchen Commando.” The show will air on the Tubi channel.

Rush, an Army veteran, updated Celebrity Delly’s kitchen equipment and provided new products.

Celebrity Delly’s menu focuses on sandwiches (such as brisket and pastrami), traditional deli items (such as matzoh ball soup and potato knishes); breakfast items; and much more.

  1. 40+ years ago I’d ride my bike to pick up a sandwich. Since They put so much meat on them! I’d then ride home and make a second sandwich for my roommate. Now I drive, and I don’t split up the meat!

  2. 40+ years ago I’d ride my bike to get a sandwich (any sandwich – they’re all amazing) to go Then I’d ride home and split up the meat to made a second sandwich for my roommate! Now, I drive and do not split the meat!

    1. Highly recommend Celebrity Delly. Their sandwiches are fantastic.

The first thing my wife got after she gave birth to kid 2 and could eat normal foods again was a Celebrity Delly Reuben.

  3. This is the chef who stole another mans gold medal from the US Presidential Center and fraudulently wore it on the cover of his book.

  4. Anyone who pays to have a pb&j sandwich made in a deli has more $& than they know what to do with. You could make a 100 sandwiches for what you pay for one.

    1. Clearly you’ve never had the PB&J at Celebrity Delly. It has so much P, B, and J, that the term PB&J doesn’t do it justice. It’s like if your mom was a giant, and your were a homeschooled teenage giant – because your mom loved you – and she made you giant sandwiches. That’s the Celebrity Delly PB&J. It could feed all the homeless in front of your local 7-11, at once.

  5. Celebrity Delly has done so much for this community. My wife and I have a family of 5x Their prices since Covid began have steadily increased, but it has been in line with so many other places in the area which makes it difficult to eat out. With a family as large as ours and trying to work and provide meals can be a bit challenging. Well, thank God for this place. For the past few months, my family and I have been enjoying their 1/2 price burger Mondays, $10 Steak and cheese Thursdays, and our kids love going in and getting their Kid’s eat for $2.50 on Thursday’s. Considering they do not change their quality for these specials, these options have been a steal!!! Along with their 1/2 sandwiches and sides, we are just so grateful that there is an actual business doing something to make affordable food during these times. It’s why I will always choose this community staple over any other. Congrats Celebrity Delly, we look forward to seeing you shine on TV!

  6. It is a great breakfast place too! My swim team goes in every Saturday morning for breakfast for 20 years. My favorite is the multigrain scrambled egg sandwich with bacon, with avocado and tomatoes, plus a fruit cup as the side instead of grilled potatoes
