Two men arrested for robbery

Two men were arrested after threatening a man with a box cutter outside the 7-Eleven at 4209 Annandale Road in central Annandale just after 7 p.m. on Aug. 23, the Fairfax County Police Department reports.

The victim walked out of the store with a bag containing beer when he was approached by two men holding box cutters and demanding his beer. The victim did not stop and continued to walk away, when one of the men said they were going to cut him.

The two men chased the victim but ran away when officers arrived. The police helicopter and K9 unit joined the search. Jamison Jones, 34, and Robert Joyner, 23, both from Alexandria, were charged with robbery.
