    1. Hopefully they will put in less crappy ones. Other jurisdictions like Arlington have tables that are actually smooth when driven over at 15 mph. Not like Old Columbia pike where anything faster that 5mph gives you a herniated disk.

  1. The irony here — the milling alone on Evergreen Avenue, PRIOR to paving, actually makes the road more passable than it was. Anyway, bout time y'all….

  2. According to the online map, Gallows Road is NOT scheduled. WHEN will the REST of Gallows Road be re-paved? We have been waiting for years. It seems like the wealthier Annandale neighborhoods are getting done first. Hmmmm…

  3. Gallows Road now is the worst road in the area. The intersection at Gallows and Hummer is just a series of fixed potholes on top of fixed potholes. And they are paving the access road on 236 this year and not Gallows. That doesn't make sense. In addition, in front of the new senior center, the patches to holes that they dug to improve utilities are terrible. Pave Gallows.

    1. They had a fixed budget. They fixed what they could. I am elated that they're even out there making real repairs. Do you really think Gallows @ 236 is worse than Evergreen and Old Columbia Pike?
