Lee’s Sandwiches, at 3037 Annandale Road, invites the public
to its grand opening, Thursday, April 28, at 9 a.m. The first 100 customers

The menu features Vietnamese fare, such as pho and banh mi

European sandwiches on croissants, curry, beef stew, spring rolls, chicken
nuggets, breakfast sandwiches, smoothies, and pastries, including Korean cakes
and macarons.

This is the first Lee’s Sandwiches restaurant on the East
Coast, says Duong, who also owns two Vietnamese restaurants in the Philippines.

Lee’s founder Chieu Le opened the first restaurant in
Westminster, Calif., in 2001. There are now about 60 Lee’s Sandwiches in
California, Arizona, Texas, Oklahoma, and Taiwan.

The building is on the site of the former Black Tie Cleaners, which was demolished in 2014.

So glad this is finally opening. I did not know they would have Pho. This could be great.
