Volunteers needed to help refugee children with homework
The Annandale Christian Community for Action (ACCA) seeks additional volunteers for its homework help program.
ACCA is working with Lutheran Social Services to provide homework help to children from refugee families. The volunteers meet with the families on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month, 10-11:30 a.m.
Volunteers must attend a short orientation and obtain an online background check. Volunteers should commit to about five hours a month. For more information, contact Nadia Fitzcharles, [email protected].
