‘Warning shot’ fired in Annandale
Brown |
The Fairfax County Police Department reports there was a “reckless discharge of a firearm” in the parking lot of the Tandoori Nights restaurant at 7137 Little River Turnpike around midnight on Nov. 23.
“A dispute over a tab became physical and someone fired a ‘warning shot’ in the parking lot to scare the group away,” the FCPD states. “No one wanted to file charges for assault, but charges for reckless discharge of a firearm are pending.”
On Nov. 24, a man was robbed in a staircase in the 5600 block of Seminary Road, Bailey’s Crossroads, while waiting to conduct a drug-related transaction at about 1:30 p.m. John Brown, 19, of Falls Church was arrested and charged with robbery. The search for the other suspect continues.
