Weekend crimes: armed robbery, DWI-related crash
The Fairfax County Police Department’s weekend crime report includes an armed robbery incident in Annandale at 2:20 a.m. on May 16. A group of men were approached by the suspect who displayed a gun and stole their personal property.
Christopher Michael Kim, 45, of Fairfax, was arrested shortly after 2 a.m. on May 17 after crashing into two police cruisers on an unrelated traffic stop on the beltway at Arlington Boulevard.
Dennis Owen Wise Jr., 31, of Fort Washington, Md., was arrested and charged with robbery with a firearm, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. There were no injuries.

Kim was driving a 2016 Kia Optima. He was charged with driving while intoxicated, refusal to submit to a breath/blood test, failure to move over for an emergency vehicle, and possession of an open container. Kim and one of the officers were taken to a hospital and treated for minor injuries.
