There was a
commercial robbery at Steven’s Shop at 6178 Arlington Blvd. in the Wilston
Shopping Center in Seven Corners at around 10:22 a.m. on June 16.

A man entered
the shop, displayed a weapon, and demanded merchandise. The suspect fled with the items, as well as an
undisclosed amount of cash. He was described as Hispanic, in his 20s, between 5
feet 6 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall, and approximately 155 pounds.

On June 18, a man approached a woman and her
6-year-old daughter at around 1:18 a.m. in a parking lot on the 6000 block of
Vista Drive in Bailey’s Crossroads. He displayed a weapon, stole the woman’s
cell phone, and attempted to touch her inappropriately.
The victim was able to break free, and the
suspect fled. He was described as Hispanic, in his 30s, 5 feet 9 inches tall,
and 200 pounds. Neither the victim nor her daughter were injured.
