Weekend crimes: unlawful entry, assault, robbery

A woman returning to her home in the 7500 block of Camp Alger Avenue on June 30 at about 9:20 p.m. found her front door had been damaged and an unknown man leaving her house and walking down the street to another house, the Fairfax County Police Department states.

Police went in with guns and shields and took out someone in handcuffs, a neighbor reported on Nextdoor.

Police arrested Timothy Guilfoil, 23, of Massachusetts and charged him with unlawful entry and destruction of property.

The 7-Eleven at 6910 Bradlick Shopping Center in Annandale was robbed just before 3 a.m. on June 29. Three black men in their 20s walked into the store, displayed a gun, and demanded money. Cash and personal property were taken.

A man exiting a business in the 7900 block of Heritage Drive shortly before 7:30 p.m. on June 27 was assaulted by two or three black men. The victim was taken to a hospital with minor injuries and could not provide any further description of the suspects.

  1. & also a man tried to break in to a woman's house/apt? in the Monticello
    neighborhood Sat night. Wasn't reported & he's still out there.
